Implementation Plan:
Get Your C.R.A.P. Together with Canva

This instructional plan was developed for the course MIDT-6115: Learning and Design in the Digital Age. It explores how Canva can be implemented as an instructional tool to support creativity, collaboration, and design literacy in a blended learning environment. The plan applies instructional design models such as ADDIE, Merrill’s Principles of Instruction, and the 4A Model. It includes a facilitator guide, student guide, a detailed procedural analysis, and an evaluation strategy to ensure measurable learning outcomes. The materials were created to support both in-person and online delivery. This project demonstrates my ability to align instructional theory with real-world application while using visual design tools to enhance learner engagement and skill development.
Tools:
-
Canva for instructional visuals and presentation design
-
Microsoft Word for formatting the instructional plan
-
Instructional Design Models including ADDIE, 4A, and Merrill's Principles

Student Guide:
Get Your C.R.A.P. Together with Canva

This student guide was created as a learner-facing resource for the "Get Your C.R.A.P. Together with Canva" workshop. It serves as a practical, visually engaging reference that helps participants understand and apply Canva’s tools while learning the foundational C.R.A.P. design principles: Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity.
The guide includes a clear overview of Canva’s interface, keyboard shortcuts, visual layout tips, and presentation features. Designed for independent learners, it supports in-session activities and post-workshop review. The layout prioritizes clarity and accessibility, making it easy for learners to navigate features, remember best practices, and apply design principles to their own work.
This project demonstrates my ability to design clear, user-friendly instructional materials that support self-directed learning and visual literacy.
